[Sponsored] Born Pretty Store - Fluorescent Lasting Lip Gloss, Moisturizing Lipstick Balm, and Foundation Sponge Review

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since my last post. I'm back today with a sponsored review from Born Pretty Store. As always, you can use the coupon code CHUH10 for 10% off your order! Today I'll be reviewing 3 items: A foundation sponge, a moisturizing lipstick balm, and a fluorescent lasting lip gloss.
I'll review the makeup sponge first! I've been really into using sponges for my concealer and foundation/BB creams nowadays because I feel like it's faster than a brush and I get better coverage. I usually take the sponge and dampen it before application (under running water, squeeze the sponge a few times until it expands).

This one I got from BPS is shaped really uniquely. It's not like the Beauty Blender which is more of a teardrop shape. This one has a smaller end which really helps you get into the smaller spots of your face (like the sides of your nose or under your eyes).

Overall I really enjoy using this sponge. I think the shape is really user friendly and for $2.24 you really can't complain. I highly recommend you try it out!
Next I'll review the lip products. I'm going to combine these reviews as I bought them with the intention of wearing these two products together. I got the lipgloss in #11 and the lipstick balm in #1
Here's what the packaging looked like:
Here are some swatches and how they look on my lips:
Gloss on top, lipstick on the bottom
Bare lips
Lip liner
Lipstick on top
Gloss on top

I think the colors were really pretty in the stock photos but I was kind of disappointed with the actual product. I'll start with the lipstick balm.

It applied smoothly and lasted okay. It came off a bit when I drank or ate but I didn't really mind. The color was pretty but it wasn't as vibrant as I wanted it to be. As you can see in the pictures above it's quite light. If you build it up, it starts to feel a bit greasy which I'm not a fan of.

Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Overall I'd say it's a nice product for the price but I've definitely used better. I think this product in a darker or bolder color might be more pigmented than the lighter, natural shades so if you try this out, pick one of those instead!
The lip gloss was about the same as the balm but the color was really not as pigmented as the pictures. I had to apply it multiple times to get a good swatch. It goes on quite sheer and the formula isn't as thick as I would like it. I think it would compliment a darker color better because it washes out light colors very easily. It's not sticky (which is always a good thing!) but just like the lipstick balm if you apply too much it definitely feels greasy.

Rating: ♥♥♥
I didn't dislike the product but I didn't love it either. I took it down an extra heart because the color was definitely not what I was expecting at all.
Thank you for reading and I hope you found these reviews helpful. Once again, thank you so much to Born Pretty Store for giving me this collaboration opportunity. Be sure to check out there website here and use the coupon code CHUH10 for 10% off your order~ See you guys in my next post!

❤ G&G Aurora Tricolor Yellow Lens Review ❤

Hey everyone! I'm back again from being a lazy shit. I know it's been a long time since I've done a review (and this one is way overdue anyways lol) so here we go~

Today I'll be reviewing the G&G Aurora Tricolor lenses in yellow. Please note that this is not a sponsored review. I purchased these lenses from PinkyParadise here. I also picked up the purple, green, and brown lenses from this series and I will review them separately.
Left to right: yellow, green, purple, brown
Diameter: 15.0 mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 9.0 mm
Duration: 1 year disposal
I was pretty excited to try these because I've never seen wearable yellow lenses before. I thought these would be more hazel colored when worn but I think they look more grey/green, depending on the light. They're still super pretty and I was not disappointed at all.
My naked eye
Looking into a light you can see it's pretty yellow
Color ♥♥♥
These lenses are stunning in picture and in photos. They're much more natural than I thought they would be considering most "yellow" lenses are quite dramatic (at least from what I've seen they're more suited as costume lenses than every day wear).

Design ♥♥♥
The design of the black outer ring isn't too dramatic. The way the colors are mapped out on the lens blends really well with my natural brown so you really get this "tricolor" effect.

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥
These lenses offer a decent enlargement effect because of the black outer ring. Sitting at 15.0 mm, I think the enlargement is pretty natural, as in you probably won't look TOO scary if you wear just minimal makeup (unlike the 16.2 mm tofi blue lenses I had before).

Comfort ♥♥♥♥
I didn't experience too much discomfort with these although I do notice that after wearing them for a full day (6+ hours) my eyes do get a bit dry and tired feeling. It's not terrible I've had worse haha.

Overall ♥♥♥♥♥
I think these are some of the prettiest lenses I've ever worn. The design is super pretty and they show up very nicely in photos. I'm currently wearing the purple ones. I tried the green ones but they were ripped so I only wore those ones once. Next up is brown but yellow is by far my favorite of the series!
I hope you found this helpful! See you next time~
