6KS.com Review

Hi again my lovelies! I hope all of you had a great weekend. Today I finally got my package from 6KS. I saw Pastelbat's outfit post and I fell in love with the pervert jersey t-shirt she had on in the 5th coordinate. I decided to order it for myself after seeing how cheap it was on the site! You can find it here for $16.99.

Side note: this is not a sponsored review. It was my first time ordering from this site and I just wanted to share my experience with you in case you were also interested in ordering from them.
I have to say I'm quite pleased with the quality of the product. I thought the shirt itself (fabric) would be kind of cheap but it's actually quite nice! I'll have to flip the shirt inside out to wash and hang dry it though because I think the graphics will crack and wash off in the machine ;___;
Okay, on to the review! This might get a little ranty, so I apologize ahead of time if I start to ramble.

I placed my order on September 6th. I went through the whole process online and paid with Paypal. I didn't make an account on the site because they gave me the option to checkout without signing up. I didn't wasn't sure if I would shop there again so I decided to not make an account.

After I checked out, I waited for the confirmation email/receipt. Anyone who has ever ordered anything online knows that most sites pretty much instantly email you this stuff after you've completed the transaction. I got nothing.

I waited an hour and still no confirmation email so I got a bit concerned. I checked my Paypal and it noted the transaction, but I didn't get a receipt from the website. So I decided to email them and ask what was up. At this time I also made an account on their site just to speed things up if they were to ask me for one.
On September 8th I receive a reply from someone named Lena. She apologized for the delay and explained they had a long weekend for the mid-autumn festival. She then asked me to reply with the Paypal transaction ID, and I did.

The next day she emails me back with my order number and told me it takes about 5 days to process an order before they ship it. She said, "Once we ship your package we'll inform you by email" and then asked me to confirm my address (I did immediately).
9 days later, September 17th rolls around and I get fed up waiting for them. I send them another email asking about my order and the shipping status.

I get a response within a few hours stating:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your valued email.Your order is ready,we will ship it today.And you will get your order tracking number within 48 hours.
Fine. Whatever.
Another 5 days later (September 22nd), I'm starting to get kind of pissed LOL. They still haven't emailed me a tracking number, so I email them again.

They reply the next day with:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your valued email.Your package was sent back to us from the courier company.We will reship it tomorrow.Million sorry for this issue.
Are you kidding me? There's a delay/issue with my package and you can't be bothered to tell me? I honestly could care less about the delay, I'm just pissed they decided I didn't need to know about anything. At this point I've been waiting for a tracking number for more than 2 weeks without an explanation and that's just unacceptable.
4 days after this (September 27th), I email them yet again because they still haven't sent me a tracking number or update on my order status. I'm basically fuming over this stupid t-shirt =___=;;

Finally they email me back with a tracking number and a site. Fast forward to today, it is October 20th. It literally took them a month and a half to send me a t-shirt lol. In the end, I'm not unhappy with my purchase but their customer service needs some serious help. I would have basically been left in the dark all this time if I had not taken the time to follow up with them.

Although the overall process was frustrating, I'm not completely put off from ordering off their site again because the product quality is actually not that bad. I probably won't order from them for a while though.
Overall Site Rating: 3.5/5
I hope you guys found this helpful! If you guys had a different experience with this site, let me know! Maybe I just picked to order at a busy time haha~ Catch you later!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Today I thought I would do a little personal post. A lot has happened to me in the last month and I just haven't been feeling myself at all. As a warning, things may get fairly sad/depressing so if you are triggered easily I suggest maybe skipping out on this post~
The last time I spoke about school, I was going to graduate. I was in my last term doing the final push and trying to get everything done for my deadline by the end of September. But I failed. To be exact, I withdrew from one of my classes before I actually failed it.

I was just too distracted and too preoccupied; I was in the midst of ending an almost 6 year relationship. I don't want to go into details because it still hurts when I think about it. You never think things would ever end when you're in a place like that. You would never think the person you held so high and regarded as your whole world, would ever do or say anything to hurt you. Especially not after all those years.

You think you know someone inside and out, but you don't really see their true colors until you put them in a dire situation. Until they're on the brink of losing something or someone they thought would be there with them "forever".

To be honest, we both felt relieved when we actually split. It felt like a load of pressure was taken off our shoulders. I was asking for him to change with me over the last 6 years, but he felt like I was pressuring him to change too quickly especially over the last year. I guess in the end we just weren't on the same page and it just wasn't meant to be...

And that was fine. We could still be friends, it wasn't like things had to change all that much. But then you tug away at the threads and you realize everything you knew about this person and the situation as a whole was wrong. Their true feelings about you, their inner most thoughts, and the things they held onto all this time... it all comes out in the end. It's at that point you realize there is really no return. You realize damage is done and whatever broke is beyond repair. You have to let go of what you once held onto so dearly, and all that's left is to look forward and recover.
Because of all this, I've literally lost the ability to be happy. I can't enjoy the things I used to anymore. I used to love playing video games, drawing, writing, and all that. Now everything feels like a chore and I find myself sporadically crying and sleeping just to get through the day.

The only thing I enjoy now is going out to see friends and just have company. I'm such a mess. It's not even that I'm upset about losing him or anything like that. It's the fact that I know everything now and it's just too painful to have these thoughts in my head. To know that all this time it was all a lie and a front. To know that I was stupid enough to think someone could love me as hard as I loved them. To know that I wasted all this time thinking he would change for me, when I have solid proof to show he hasn't changed since day one...

But all of that pain and all of that sadness is slowing fading away now.
I ended up getting my old job back at Forever21 so the days go by easier and I have a source of income again, which is nice. I've received a tremendous amount of support from my mom and friends which has helped greatly. I don't think I would have made it through the first week without them (it's been almost a month now).

I'm back at school but I only have one class to focus on so I'm going to give it my all. I'm going to prove to him and everyone else who doubted me that you can do what you love and be successful doing it.

I started getting back into doing my gal makeup again too. I've been slacking outfit-wise this year, and it doesn't help that it started raining already >___<;;
Anyways, I've been doing a lot better now that it's been some time since the breakup. I feel like I'm recovering little by little every day. I can't wait to be myself again haha.

Here's a few pictures of my recent makeup. I started lining my waterline with black liner and then filling in the outer edges with liner as well. I think it looks way cleaner than my makeup before. I used to avoid lining my waterline with black because I thought it made my eyes look smaller, but in gal makeup it actually pulls the look together quite well!
My favorite look of the bunch! Haha.
This is the only one I'm not wearing lenses in
If you stayed with me until the very end and read everything, thank you so much. I'm going to be okay! <3 I'll talk to you guys again soon~

[Sponsored] Born Pretty Store - Seamless Natural Criss-Cross False Lash Review

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today I'm going to be reviewing some lashes sponsored by Born Pretty Store. You can find them here. Don't forget to use the coupon code CHUH10 for 10% off your purchase on their site!
I apologize ahead of time that these photos are not the best. I tried to use these lashes for a variety of looks but they're much too natural looking for any of the looks I did, in fact they barely showed up in photos. In the end, I just wore them with a little bit of mascara for a very casual and light look.
Design ♥♥♥♥
These lashes are really pretty, I love the criss-cross design and how it wings out on the ends. I wish they were a little thicker though because my natural lashes lack volume.

Comfort ♥♥♥♥
These lashes are very comfortable. I have no problem wearing them for the whole day. The band is thin and quite flexible.

Durability ♥♥♥
I think these lashes are one of the more delicate styles I own. You have to be really careful while curling them because they can get misshapen very easily. Also since the band is so thin, you have to clean them with extra caution or you'll again, misshape them.

Overall Rating
I think these lashes would be great if you're into natural looks. They're especially great if you've already got some killer lashes and just need a little bit of a boost. Personally I prefer more voluminous and dramatic lashes so I didn't like these as much as the other lashes I own, but they're still really nice!
Anyways, I hope you found this review helpful~! Be sure to check out the Born Pretty Store site and use the coupon code CHUH10 for 10% off your purchase. I'll see you again soon~
