[Sponsored] Born Pretty Store - Almonds Oil Natural Cream Moisture Gloss Lip Stick Review

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today I'm going to review the Almonds Oil Natural Cream Moisture Gloss Lip Stick that was kindly sponsored to me by Born Pretty Store.

Don't forget you can also use the code CHUH10 for 10% off your purchase at the Born Pretty Store website!
Here's a photo from the website. I asked for the color 02.
Photo from the website

This is what it looked like when I got it:
You can see a swatch on the right~
Here are some photos with me wearing the lipstick (I'm also using the foundation from this review in these pictures as well!):
Packaging: ♥♥♥♥♥
The packaging is small and compact. Although the product is sold for cheap, the packaging feels far from that. The cap snaps to close and the lipstick stays put (doesn't wobble around inside the tube).

Application: ♥♥♥♥♥
This lip stick glides on really smoothly. It's creamy and very moisturizing, kind of like those lip butters from Revlon. It doesn't settle into my lips and actually lasts a very long time without reapplication!

Color: ♥♥♥♥
The lip stick is stunning and true to the tube's color. As you can see from the swatch picture, it's very pigmented. Although I have some filters in the pictures above, you can still very clearly see the lip color.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥
This has got to be one of my favorite lipsticks of all time! It reminds me a lot of my favorite NARS lipstick in Roman Holiday (pictured below). Although the staying power is not as good as NARS, with the price tag of $4.26 (versus $30), I'd say this is a fantastic alternative.
Thank you once again for reading! I hope to put up the final lip product review sometime at the end of this week. I'm heading into my last week of school so I'll be working hard trying to get all my projects done ;^; I still have a lot of exciting posts to make, so please be sure to visit again soon!

[Sponsored] Born Pretty Store - 3 Colour Delicate Makeup Foundation

Hello my dear readers! I apologize for the delay on this post. I was going to do it way sooner but then I got caught up in school work ;^;  Recently I received another package from Born Pretty Store. I received two lip products and one face product from them. Today I will be doing a review on the powder compact (click to go to the product page!).

Also a reminder that you can use the coupon code CHUH10 for 10% off your purchase on the Born Pretty site!

So here's how the packages looked when they came in the mail~
The powder compact all wrapped up in plastic wrap:
It comes with two powders in the top layer (and it smells like chocolate! lol):
And a cream-type concealer with a puff on the bottom:
So here's how the coverage works! Please excuse my breakouts ;^;
Bare skin
Here's my skin with my usual concealer. I didn't use the one in the compact because it doesn't match my skin tone. It's a lot more ashy than I am.
With concealer (not the one included)
 With my foundation on top.
I'm using e.l.f's flawless finish foundation
Finally, with the powder over top.
Here's some full faced pictures:

Color: ♥♥♥♥
The color for this powder is quite light and it can kind of get ashy if you don't properly balance it out with bronzer/blush. The right powder is what I use for coverage, and the left one is for touch-ups. I find that the left one is very light so I try not to go crazy with it, especially with the powder puff.

Texture: ♥♥♥
The powder is very smooth and almost creamy. It goes on very nicely, especially with the powder puff but you have to be careful or it will get cakey quickly. The concealer is a little bit on the greasier side. I probably won't use it until the winter time because I don't want it to melt off.

Coverage: ♥♥
The coverage for the powder is really good. Depending on your method of application, you can build it from light to medium (maybe full) coverage. I suggest using a setting spray though if you're going to build it up as it can cake a bit cakey looking if you don't.

Overall: ♥♥
I think this is a fantastic product for its worth ($6~). The texture is really nice and it covers pretty well. It didn't break me out or anything and actually, I like it a lot better than some of my current powders.

To my knowledge there isn't any color selection but I think that it matched okay with my skin. It looks really white in the pictures but I had flash on so it appeared even brighter than it was. I'd say the only down side to this product is that it can look cakey and ashy if you aren't careful. Other than that I highly recommend you check it out, especially if your skin is as fair as mine.

Here are some full faced pictures for comparison~
Thank you so much for reading! I will be putting up the reviews for the lip products soon. I'll be getting a break from school in 2 weeks so hopefully I can pump those out for you. Don't forget to use the coupon code CHUH10 for a discount on your purchase at Born Pretty Store! Catch you later~
