Finally moved in! (and other updates)

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long since my last post. We just finished moving in to our new place and I didn't have internet or a computer for a week so that was kind of shit. Anyways, we're all comfy cozy now so I hope to be making more in-depth posts about some of the things I'll talk about today.

So I've finally settled in to my new place, boxes all unpacked and such. It's honestly not as bad as I thought it was going to be, in fact I actually do like this place. The location itself is pretty convenient if I want to get to work, and even getting to school isn't too much of a hassle. It's close to a lot of great food and it's obviously got a bigger space than our old house. It also feels a lot more homey since we got rid of a lot of old furniture and bought new furniture to replace them.

Of course, I was really happy to finally bring my desktop home. My boyfriend built me a new computer out of the parts from his old computer and it runs like a dream compared to my laptop~ Actually along with my new internet, this computer is good enough for me to finally stream video games! Right now I have a lot planned for the next couple months ahead. I've been super stressed about it actually. Koji didn't do well at my cousin's in-laws so Catherine helped look after him for a bit. My mom and I talked to our land lord and she agreed that he could stay with us if it's short term.

We're still looking for alternatives because I know how strongly my mom's family feels about him being here. I talked about it a lot with my mom and we decided it was best if I could move out on my own when I graduate. She agreed that it would be best if I found roommates and if we could all split the rent to a bigger place.

I already have a few people in mind for this and we've been talking. However because Koji's coming back so soon we were anticipating an earlier move than October, which is when I graduate. I'm still not sure as to what I will be doing, but for now he'll be coming here to stay for a bit. I'm going to have dinner with my mom's relatives on Saturday to discuss this with them. I just need a little time to get things sorted out and once I do we'll both be gone for good. I'm not sure how we'll they'll take this because they've been very adamant about getting rid of Koji. They told me if I couldn't find a place they would take him to the SPCA (the pound), which is cruel and unfair to say to family (which is why I don't refer to them as my family anymore). But that's a rant for another day. For now, fingers crossed I guess!
Anyways I don't want this post to go on too long. I did go out for Dine-Out Vancouver with my friends a few weeks back, as well as celebrate my 5 year anniversary with Patrick. I'll post more about those events later when I get all the pictures loaded up. I think a few sponsor packages are in the mail for me as well so those will be exciting to talk about!

Thanks for sticking around and supporting me even though I haven't been updating much. I hope you all have a wonderful week and I'll talk to you soon! <3
