Dineout 2013 & Life Changes

Hello again dear readers! Yesterday Patrick and I went out with a group of friends from my elementary years. We went to participate in Dineout 2013 at a place called the Vancouver Fanclub. We picked this place because we were super eager to try the dessert which was: Warm Mini-DonutsPrepared in-house. Served plain or rolled in cinnamon sugar with a chocolate Kahlua dipping sauce on the side.
Due to some mix up with the buses, Patrick and I got there a bit late. The bar was kind of empty in terms of customers. There was only one waitress and one bartender for the whole night. There was a live local band playing but they were really old and loud. It was tolerable though since they took breaks after every few songs. Most of us ordered the pulled pork burger, but for appetizers Patrick and I ordered wings instead of the prawn corndogs like everyone else.

My pulled pork burger with fries
I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with this place. First the waitress got Patrick's order wrong, she gave him the corndogs instead of wings so he had to wait like, 20 minutes for them. Then she asked me if i wanted fries or chips with my burger, I asked for chips but she came back with fries. Last but not least, we ended up not even having the donuts. The machine broke so we ended up with no dessert! The waitress felt bad and gave us all coupons for free donuts the next time we're in the neighborhood, but I highly doubt we'll ever go back even with the coupon.

On a side note though, my friend Ellen spotted Misha Collins on the other side of the bar and that was kind of cool. We didn't want to bother him so we just gawked at him from our table lol.
Anyways, with all that aside here's my outfit and makeup for the night. I wanted something light and simple and for my outfit I wanted something warm and cozy.

Last week I went to speak with an admissions director for the Art Institute of Vancouver. After a really long interview/info session I decided to go for it and signed up for the Game Art & Design program. I've submitted all my paper work so now I'm just waiting for them to get back to me. I'm really excited! If everything goes well, I'll start this April and graduate in September 2014. I'll keep you posted!

Another exciting thing coming up is a meetup my Japanese class is planning for over the reading break. We decided for a karaoke/hotpot night to get to know everyone and just have a good time as some of us weren't in the same class last semester. I'll definitely make a post about this later.

That's pretty much it for this post! I leave you with some delicious looking sushi pictures that I forgot to share  in my previous posts.

EOS Pop C (G-204) Dark Brown Lens Review

Hello! Today I'm going to be review the EOS (G-204) Pop C Dark Brown lenses. I got these a while back but never really had the chance to wear them because I'm trying to give my eyes a rest from CL's like my eye doctor suggested. I wore them for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend, so I thought it would be a perfect time to do a review on them! Also, this is my first lens review so it's probably not going to be perfect. Please let me know what I could add/do differently next time so that it's more informative!
Here's what they look like in the packaging with flash. I got them from a facebook group so they didn't come in a box or anything, just the bottles. Some basic information on these lenses:
Diameter: 14.5 mm
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Duration: 1 year disposable
Here's the pic spam. I'm sorry these might not be as good as other review blogs/there's a lot of pictures but again, it's my first review. (I suck at taking pictures of my eye apparently lol)

Color ♥♥♥♥♡
The lenses look really natural and dolly in person. They're pretty dark I think, at least on my brown eyes, and may not show up very vivid unless you have lighter colored eyes than mine. My only wish is that the brown was a bit more noticeable. They're still very pretty though!

Design ♥♥♥♥♡
I think the design for these lenses is very natural. As you can see in the 3rd picture, the outer ring actually blends very well with my natural eye color.

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡
These lenses really gave my eye a sweet dolly effect. 14.5mm isn't a huge difference in my opinion just because I've had bigger lenses, but they're not bad! The enlargement is more natural than those lenses with the black rings so I highly recommend these lenses for those who don't like the look of the black rings.

Comfort ♥♥♥
I usually have a prescription with my lenses so this is my first time wearing planos. I'm not sure if it was because of the prescription but when I first put these on it felt like something was in my eye (like an eyelash) but then after a while that feeling went away. It's not because they were dirty, I cleaned them very thoroughly before use. I did experience a little bit of dryness but that was not until very late into the night. One thing to note though, when I took them out I noticed that there was a lot of redness in a ring shape where the lens sat on my eye. I think it might be because of the curvature of the lenses; I've been told that if the lenses don't sit well on the curve of your eye it could cause discomfort, so maybe that's the reason why they felt weird. I should probably be more careful about my lens selection in the future lol.

Overall ♥♥♥♥♡
These lenses are very natural and will give you a great dolly effect. The enlargement and design are great for those with naturally light/medium brown eyes. If you're any darker you might not see a huge difference in your eyes other than the enlargement. If you're looking for something more dramatic I would definitely suggest you try a different lens. Other than that I think these lenses are very pretty! You can find them on PinkyParadise, Lensvillage and other popular lens sites.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you found this review helpful. Please let me know if there's anything I can add/do better in my next lens review! See you later~

❤ 4 Magical Years ❤

Hey everyone! This post will be a bit of a photo dump. Yesterday was my 4 year anniversary with my boyfriend. He made reservations for this fancy restaurant a week ago and the food was absolutely amazing. It's called MARKET and it's inside the Shangri-La hotel. We didn't know that we'd be participating in Dine-Out there but the menu was pretty good.
We both got the Butternut Squash Soup and porkchop with steamed mushrooms and XO sauce, but for dessert I got the chocolate cake and he got the cheesecake.
Our porkchop~
Patrick's cheesecake~ I thought the
ice cream looked like a snail
My lava cake~
The cozy bread basket.
Our soup. It tasted like mac and cheese lol.
The most adorable little spoon in the world.
We took some pictures together after and during dinner lol. The ones of us side by side are from after dinner.
Isn't he so adorable with glasses?
We sat in a cute little side room with
curtains all around

Pretty lights~
Thank you so much bb for the most magical 4 years of my life. Dinner was amazing and I love you to bits. Thank you for being my everything.  ❤❤❤❤❤
Here's my outfit and makeup for the night. I'll also be doing a review on the lenses I'm wearing in my next post so please look forward to that!

You may have also noticed my phone case came in! I took a photo of it during dinner lol. I also got a new babydoll from the gyaru_sales facebook page!
Photo not mine.
Also, I've officially reached 80 followers here on blogger as well as 108 on instagram. I know it's not a big number to some bloggers who have thousands of views each day, but this really means a lot to me. I just wanted to say that I appreciate each and every one of you, so thank you all for your continued support! See you in my next post~
