Hi hi! I wanted to do a quick OOTD/FOTD post. I didn't want to make the previous post super duper long, so I decided to make a separate entry for this  ●ᴥ●

OOTD for Friday~
I'm sorry the picture's not very clear, but I was in a hurry to leave and this was the best I could do >__<;; Everything I'm wearing was purchased from my trip to Hong Kong a few years ago, except for the skirt. I bought the skirt from a Facebook group.
I was experimenting with my makeup recently. Again I'm sorry it's not very clear here. I tried using false lower lashes this time but you can't see them in this photo because of my crap camera.

For this look, I rediscovered my Revlon Colorstay foundation. I tried applying it first with a brush (dotting it in areas that needed coverage) then I blended it out with a wet cosmetic sponge. I used to use the foundation as is, but I think using the wet sponge is definitely the way to go. It dilutes the product enough so that it's not cakey (it used to look so gross and heavy with just the brush application). With the damp sponge, the consistency is a lot closer to a BB cream!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

❖Review: Tokidoki Arte Palette - Til Death Do Us Part❖

Hiiii dear readers~ ◕3◕
Yesterday I went out to karaoke with my boyfriend and close friend, Royal. First we stopped by Metrotown and I went to Sephora. They had lots of cute sample/travel size products in the checkout lineup, the tokidoki palettes in particular caught my eye. There were 3 color arrangements to choose from but I ended up picking this one called "Til Death Do Us Part"
Front of the package
Back of the package
I mainly got it on a whim; I thought the blush was super pretty (it looks more orange in the preview image on the back of the packaging). I wanted it because I don't have any orange blushes and for $12 it was sort of a steal. The shadows were kind of a bonus in this sense.

The packaging is just cheap cardboard with a magnetic snap closure. There's a thin vertical mirror on the inside. Although not super fancy, the packaging seems pretty sturdy for what it's worth. It's also really slim as you can see so it's great for travelling/on the go use.
The blush is really amazing, the pigmentation is great. The color isn't quite orange, it's more of a peachy pink with a bit of sparkle.

The shadows are nothing special. I really like the two lighter colors but I feel like the darker colors are more chalky and very very sheer. I haven't actually used them in a look yet but in order to make the swatches below, i had to go over the color a good 2-3 times for it to show on camera (note: I didn't use any primer for the swatches)

1 & 2 are my favorite *o*
Overall I think it was worth it for $12. The blush itself is probably worth more than that in a larger size.

After visiting Sephora we went to dinner at Sushi Oyama. I got some sashimi and a few kappa rolls (forgot to take pictures). Hunny ordered a smoke salmon cream cheese roll and a chopped scallop roll, and Royal got an udon and red roll~
Some of my hunny's food and Royal's red roll (top)

After karaoke we went across the street to meet some other friends at Estea, but it was getting pretty late so we left to catch the bus home not too long after we got there.

Royal listening to his music deeply... *coughgaycough*
Silly face >3<

On the way home I started to get a bit hungry but the closest place that was still open was McDonald's. To my surprise though, the McDonald's had closed just a few minutes before I got there, but the drive-thru was still open. Needless to say, not having a car didn't stop us from ordering at the drive-thru LOL.
I've never felt more troll in my life.

That's all for this post! I hope you enjoyed reading and found the review to be helpful. See you next time!

Re-vamped! SweetDreams Gets a Makeover

Hello lovelies! I bet you were a bit surprised when you happened upon my page today. I gave SweetDreams a total makeover! I didn't like the way the old background looked (it was made pretty hastily and poorly). I wanted a new one with a more seamless image. Also I redid the header banner so that it included a picture of me and somewhat matched the blog more.

Overall it took me quite a few hours to find all the images and edit them but I'm very happy with the result! What do you think? Do you like my blog's new look? (#^.^#)

So I caved in and splurged a little on that site I talked about in my last post. There's definitely a haul post coming up. Actually, there's going to be 2. LOL. I was lurking on e_g and I rediscovered Pin's video on making gyaru nails and decided to buy some deco gear and nail tips. My god I have like, 0 self control when it comes to these things =__=

I'm trying to let gyaru grow on me little by little. I've been trying to shop for myself with certain co-ordinates or models in mind. Maybe I can become really good at gyaru sometime in the near future.

Anyways, that's off topic! I just wanted to update a little and let you guys know what's coming in the next few weeks. I probably won't be updating again over the weekend because I have 2 finals on Tuesday. That's all for this post. Thanks for reading~

Websites to Note!

Hey guys! Today my friend Terry told me about a really cool shopping website called Asia fashion wholesale. They sell lots of clothes/shoes/purses for super cheap! (the catch is you have to pay pretty pricey shipping)

I was thinking about getting a few things from there so maybe I'll have a haul post coming soon! Just thought I'd share that in case anyone else had been in the shopping mood lately haha.
This is what I look like when
I get new stuff LOL (thought in
the panda's head for this gif definitely
goes along the lines of': "AWW YEAH")
Also my friend Margaret started a food blog. It'd mean a lot if you supported her by following/liking her facebook page. Thanks!

That's all for now! I know this post was super short for a change lol. Hopefully I'll have more things to post about this coming week. Anyways bye for now!

*:・゚✧Deco iTouch Cases*:・゚✧

Hey everyone! So for my birthday, my friends actually got together and bought me brand new 4th generation iTouch! I love it lots but the back was so prone to scratching and fingerprints so I had to buy some pretty deco cases to cover the back part up!

I found some really cute cases on ebay but there were some things about them I didn't like (color/certain deco pieces). After searching for a few days, I came across a seller who was having a great deal (5 cases) + free shipping. I liked most of the designs so I figured, "Why not? It's cheaper than buying 5 separate cases"

They came in the mail few days ago but I've been way too lazy to make this post lol. I guess I don't feel so motivated to keep this blog up since I don't have a lot of readers >__<;; But then if I stop, I'll get even fewer readers and it just because a vicious cycle D:

ANYWAYS, without further delay here are the 5 cases I got (image taken from the ebay seller because I'm too lazy to take each one out of their packaging and photograph them):

I'm currently using the black and white one and so far it's held up pretty well! None of the gems have fallen off and it's actually quite a bit more durable than I had expected.

If you're wondering, it's the butterfly case that I'm not too crazy about. I don't know why, I think it's pretty but it's just not my style I guess.

Here's what my case looks like:

I also like that it's not too bulky either despite the fact that there are 5 huge roses on the back. It still fits perfectly fine into my jean pockets  (^▽^)

The lights in my room burnt out so I had to sit in the dark for a while .__.;;

That's all for now! Please don't forget to follow me (links in the sidebar to the right). I really appreciate it, and it encourages me to keep this blog alive!

Thanks for reading! See you next time~

New Skincare Item!

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since my last post eh? Well today I went out and bought myself a treat and I thought I'd share it with you!

I don't have a really crazy or intricate skincare regimen setup at all. Actually, I only recently started to collect products to use as a set skincare routine. I used to use a lot of products from the brand H20+ and as much as I love their products, they're just a little bit over my budget. (Actually, it's not really that much more expensive than any other high end makeup/skincare brand, but I really can't afford things over the $30-ish range QQ)

The only reason I started using that brand was because I had gotten a sample of their "face oasis hydrating treatment" when I passed by their shop on Canada Day and I ended up liking it a lot. Around Christmas time they had these packages/bundles you could buy which consisted of a full size Face Oasis gel (retails for like, $50+ on its own) and a small sized cleanser, serum, and eye gel for only $65 I think (I don't remember the exact price).

Since then I've purchased a total of 2 sets as well as 1 exfoliating cleanser. I was going to go back and buy another set, until I realized they had increased the price. This made me kind of sad because I didn't feel like I could afford something so close to $100 after tax just for skincare. I mean, don't get me wrong the products all perform fantastically, I just find money very hard to come by especially now that I don't have a part time job.

Ever since then I've been on the hunt for a new moisturizer in particular because that's the part of the set I enjoyed the most. (I did repurchase the cleanser in the full size for around $27~ and I'm still using it, there's quite a lot of product in there so it will last me a really long time.) I've tried many many samples and full size products from Sephora but in the end, came up empty handed. Until I noticed they had started their own skincare line. I've always been interested in Sephora brand products because they're sometimes almost identical to certain high end brand products but at a much more affordable price.

I tried out the Sephora Instant Moisturizer in the store and it made my hand feel super smooth. I decided to take a sample home and use it for a few nights first. I've been using it for three or four nights now and I have to say my skin is looking and feeling a lot smoother and hydrated. I liked this product so much I decided to go out and buy it right away! (I had a 15% off coupon too! Even more of a reason to spoil myself ^o^)

So far I like it a lot~ I feels great, smells great and goes on really smooth. If you're curious, I was using the Nivea cream before but I felt like that was too heavy to wear now that the weather is not as dry as in the Winter.

Also it was Dyrus' birthday on the 30th so I made him a fansign~ (I'm not posting it here, if you want to see it go on Tumblr and look up the dyrus tag or go on my Tumblr and scroll until you find it lul)

Here's a shot of me from that day. I curled my hair because I was too lazy to wash and dry it haha.
Anyways, that's all for now! Thanks so much for reading. Please don't forget to follow me on GFC/Twitter/Tumblr and now Instagram (pinkiechan)! Every follow really means the world to me. Thank you again~ See you next time :3
